Abstract:
We characterize the genetic correlates of sustained attentional processes using molecular genetic data in a novel cohort. The results of our study suggest that genetic influences on cognitive processes underlying sustained attention are generally distinct from those that influence broader aspects of executive functioning and show distinct patterns of genetic overlap with multiple psychiatric disorders.
